About Me

I'm known by the artist Shubaobao, a name that loosely translates to "baby mouse." The inspiration behind this alias comes from a cherished mouse plush my mom gifted me when I was a child. My original artworks typically feature Shubaobao, myself, and various animal friends.

With a background spanning 12 years in the graphic arts industry, I've also engaged in side projects such as participating in short films in the Chicago area. Notably, I served as the production designer for the short film "Milkman" by Daniel Skubal, an official selection at the AOF Film Festival in the fall of 2012 and an award-winning entry at the 2012 Elgin Short Film Festival.

Additionally, I was awarded Best in Show at the local art festival, Art Beat at my home city in Indiana.

Currently my primary focus revolves around illustrations, and you can often find me showcasing my work in artist alleys at conventions, as indicated in the convention schedule tab.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my creations! Your support is genuinely appreciated!
